Although Qatar is not on the list of visa free countries, it indeed has a lot to offer which makes the efforts for a visa application worth it. If you will apply for a visa for the purpose of tourism, you must go for a Tourist Visa application. Here are the requirements for Qatar Visa application for the purpose of tourism:

  • valid passport
    • validity must be at least six (6) months on entry to Qatar
    • with at least two (2) blank pages
  • proof of health insurance covering the period of intended stay in Qatar
  • proof of sufficient funds to cover the expenses during the entire stay in Qatar
  • round-trip flight ticket
  • proof of accommodation
    • letter from the inviter
    • hotel booking / rental agreement

The Tourist Visa allows both single and multiple entries. A tourist with this type of travel visa is allowed to stay in the country for up to 30 days. He/She is also allowed to file for an extension for another 30 days of stay.

If you want to enter Qatar for the purpose of making business, you must secure a Business Visa. Here are the requirements for Qatar Visa application for business purposes:

  • valid passport

The Business Visa allows the traveler for up to 30 days of stay in Qatar. Meanwhile, it can be extended for another 30 days.
