Fur Baby Foils Attempted Burglary to Fur Parent’s Home
NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES – A fur baby goes viral and earns praises online after preventing an intruder from entering fur parent’s home.
Eury Perry, a Facebook user, shared the photos of her fur baby that becomes an unlikely hero after foiling an attempted robbery. The furry friend immediately spread like wildfire after it was posted on social media.
The incident took place on the night of October 13, 2023, around 3:00 in the morning, as a would-be intruder attempted to enter the home of Eury.
The fur baby named Cashew detected a suspicious figure attempting to break into their home. The trespasser had boldly climbed over the gate and sought to access the interior of the house.
The intruder even damaged the window screen using a wire cutter and tried to tamper with the front door’s lock. She shared the dramatic events on social media, praising her pet’s courageous actions.
“Kita sa aming cctv ang lalaking ito na lakas loob na umakyat sa bakod ng gate at nagtangkang pasukin ang loob ng bahay. Sinira niya ang screen ng bintana gamit ang dala niyang wire cutter at sinubukang buksan ang lock ng pinto,” Eury said.
The dog’s heroic act became evident as he bravely barked, alerting the household to the presence of the intruder. The intruder was prevented from gaining access to the main part of the house.
However, the intruder managed to make off with some belongings from their garage, taking advantage of the situation.
“Nag start po mag ingay yun dog kaya hindi successful yun akyat bahay na maiunlock ang front door. Kaya sa garage nalang po sya nagnakaw ng gamit,” Perry claimed.
Eury recounted her surprise, as Cashew’s barking had been so intense that it prompted her to check the CCTV footage to understand the commotion.
“If Cashew wasn’t there siguro nakapasok nang tuluyan as the burglar would have more time to try maunlock ang door,” she added. The social media users expressed their reactions to the dog’s act of bravery.”
