If you are visiting Peru for the purpose of tourism, you need to secure a Tourist Visa. Here are the requirements for Peru Visa application for this purpose:

  • duly-accomplished and signed Peru Visa Application Form
  • original and valid passport
    • valid for at least six (6) months on entry
    • with one blank visa page
  • round-trip flight ticket
  • proof of sufficient funds relative to your intended length of stay
  • two (2) passport-type photos
    • in color
    • taken within the last three (3) months
    • printed on high-quality photo paper
    • taken against an all white background
    • 2×2 inches in size
    • shows the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle
    • neutral expression

In case you are flying to Peru for business purposes, there is a different set of requirements for Peru Visa application. Here are the documents that you will need in applying for a Business Visa:

  • duly-accomplished and signed Peru Visa Application Form
  • completed copy of the Traveler Information Form
  • Business Cover Letter on company letterhead that displays the company’s mailing address
  • original and valid passport
    • valid for at least six (6) months on entry
    • with one blank visa page
  • round-trip flight ticket
  • proof of sufficient funds relative to your intended length of stay
  • two (2) passport-type photos
    • in color
    • taken within the last three (3) months
    • printed on high-quality photo paper
    • taken against an all white background
    • 2×2 inches in size
    • shows the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle
    • neutral expression
  • proof of travel arrangements
    • copy of an itinerary or e-ticket that displays your round trip travel and entry and exit dates for your destination
    • traveler’s full name
  • CIBTvisas Order Form
  • Letter of Invitation which must contain the traveler’s
    • full name, date of birth, nationality, and intended dates of travel as provided in your Business Introduction Letter and flight itinerary
    • full name, nationality, local address, phone number, and relation of the inviting person
    • name of the host organization
    • exact purpose and details of the nature of your visit
    • request the same number of entries and length of validity of the visa requested in your Business Introduction Letter
