Albert Martinez was asked about Sharon Cuneta in a recent interview
The past romance between Megastar Sharon Cuneta and seasoned actor Albert Martinez was recalled during a recent event.
During a recent press conference for Gabay Guro, Albert, along with Gabby Concepcion, answered questions from media people. Both actors became exes of the Megastar. Sharon and Gabby got married and had a daughter, KC Concepcion.
Based on the article in PEP, Gabay Guro Chairperson Chaye Cabal-Revilla kept on asking Albert about his past with Sharon and this made Gabby smile.
“Si Sharon ang first boyfriend niya si Albert! Tama ba? Parang nabasa ko yun dati nung bata pa ako. Huy, Albert, di ba totoo yon? Nabasa ko yon dati, sa magazine,” the Gabay Guro Chairperson said.
Gabby answered, “Hindi. Sila ni Snooky [Serna].” Albert jokingly added, “Mali yata itong event na napasukan ko.”
Although Albert did not confirm his past with Sharon during that event, he mentioned this in a PEP interview back in 2018. He said that in showbiz, he was the first boyfriend of the Megastar.
Back then, Albert shared that he met Sharon in GMA Supershow. It was during the height of the Megastar’s song Mr. DJ. That first meeting led to a project.
“‘Tapos, we were offered to do yung first movie nila ni Gabby, yung Dear Heart [1981]. Kaya lang, hindi ako pinayagan ni Mother Lily, ibinigay sa akin yung Bata Pa Si Sabel [1981]. Nagpalit kami ni Gabby, kasi dapat siya ang partner ni Snooky. While nasa Vigan ako, ginagawa niya ang Dear Heart. Naging girlfriend na niya [Gabby] si Sharon, naging girlfriend ko si Snooky,” Albert said.
Back in 2018, through her interaction with her fans on Facebook, Sharon Cuneta confirmed the relationship he had with Albert Martinez. At that time, the Megastar shared that her first real love was Gabby Concepcion.
