One of the most popular government agencies in the Philippines that cater services to millions of Filipinos is the Pag-IBIG Fund. It is mainly popular for its Housing Loan offer but it has continually expanded its offers through the years.

In fact, the offers of the Fund now includes the Pag-IBIG Cash Loan or officially called the Multi-Purpose Loan or MPL. It also offers a Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan that is open for online application for members living in areas struck by a calamity.

A Pag-IBIG membership is mandatory to public and private sector employees. Now, you can evade the long queues in applying to be a member of the Fund because the Pag-IBIG registration process can now be done online.

With regards to the documentary requirements needed in applying for a Pag-IBIG membership online, there is no document that you need to secure and submit in physical forms. However, you need to prepare a copy of your birth certificate for reference while you fill in the registration form.

Here are the steps for Pag-IBIG registration to the Fund’s online portal:

  • Step 1 — Go to the official online portal of the Fund, the Pag-IBIG Virtual. Move your mouse to the E-Services tab and click “Membership Registration” to proceed to the Online Membership Registration Page.
  • Step 2 — Fill in the online registration form by providing your complete name (Last Name, First Name, Middle Name) and your date of birth in this format — mm/dd/yy.
  • Step 3 — Input the Captcha to prove that you are not a robot and click “Submit”.
  • Step 4 — Complete the registration form by entering your personal details including your address and contact information. You also need to input your heirs, member category, and employment history. Click “Submit Registration” after you are done.
  • Step 5 — Wait for the Successful Registration page to appear. Save a copy of your Registration Tracking Number. Click the “Print MDF” button to save and print your enrollment form.
  • Step 6 — After 2 working days, verify your Pag-IBIG ID number by visiting the Pag-IBIG Membership ID (MID) Number Inquiry. If you are employed, submit your Pag-IBIG number to your employer.
