- two recent color photographs
- 2×2 inches in size

- in white background
- pasted and not stapled on the Indian Visa Application Form
- valid passport
- validity must be at least six (6) months beyond your stay in India
- bring a photocopy
- round-trip flight tickets
- proof of financial standing such as the following:
- recent bank statements
- sponsorship letter
- proof of accommodation such as the following:
- hotel booking receipt
In case you have visited India before or you plan to visit the country again after your upcoming visit, there must be a two-month gap as per the policy of the Indian government on re-entry of foreign nationals.
Meanwhile, the Indian government has reviewed the policy and has decided to exempt the nationals from the following countries with regards to the two-month gap rule between visits to India:
- Afghanistan
- China
- Iran
- Pakistan
- Iraq
- Sudan
- Bangladesh
- foreigners of Pakistan origins
- Stateless individuals
