The manager of Bea Alonzo reacted to the allegations against the actress

Talent manager Shirley Kuan, the one handling the career of Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo, answered the statement made by the producer of the movie 1521.

Bea already finished shooting for the historical fantasy movie in which she played a tribe princess. However, no promotions were made even though it was already screened abroad.

Issues surfaced surrounding the movie surfaced. It was alleged that Bea did not receive her portion of the deal and had an allegedly unforgettable experience on the set. It was said that she even spent her own money on her costume, her team’s accommodation, and the food for the staff.

Previously, this was debunked by one of the people behind the production team of the movie.  Andrea Hernandez Trinidad from Team 1521 reacted to the allegations and denied the issues surfaced against the film’s producer.

In a recent interview by PEP, Shirley Kuan, the manager of Bea Alonzo, answered the statement from the movie’s producer. The talent manager explained the problem that happened to the actress’s costume.

Shirley stressed that they did not demand. She revealed that the designer of the costume did not receive any payment for this because it was just an”ex-deal.” The designer was allegedly told that this was just a promotion for his work since it was Bea who would wear his design.

Shirley also pointed out that the costume did not fit Bea and they had to make the effort to ensure that when the shooting started, the actress would not have a wardrobe malfunction.

The talent manager also shared that there was no spare costume which is a usual thing to do in the production, especially since it was a period film. Bea Alonzo’s manager also challenged the producer to face her regarding this issue.
