Kim Chiu was asked if she did “paalam” to Xian Lim to do ‘Linlang’
Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu expressed that when it comes to acting projects, she and her boyfriend Kapuso actor Xian Lim don’t have to ask each other for permission.
Kim and Xian first worked together as loveteam partners in the Kapamilya network. Their tandem is known as KimXi. After many years of doing projects together, they went separate ways with regard to their careers.
Kim’s most recent teleserye is Linlang together with Paulo Avelino, JM de Guzman, and Maricel Soriano.
Previously, Kim Chiu mentioned in an interview that she is proud to have the chance to experience the Diamond Star’s “sampal.”
During the press conference for this new Kapamilya series, media people were able to watch the preview. One of the featured scenes was the love scene that she had with Paulo.
She was asked if she asked for Xian’s permission before doing the series, based on the article in Abante. Kim answered, “Hindi ako nagpaalam kay Xian! Walang ganun. Siya rin naman may mga ginagawa rin na hindi niya kailangang ipagpaalam sa akin!”
However, the Kapamilya actress said that it took her two months before she finally said yes to this project. She also expressed that she is very proud of this project and she hopes that more people will subscribe to Prime Video to watch their series.
Meanwhile, Kim Chiu felt “kilig” when she was commended due to how she was able to maintain her fit figure. She said, “Mahilig akong kumain, wala naman akong pinipiling food. Kahit ano kinakain ko. Hindi lang talaga ako mahilig sa sweets.”
