The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) chairman is Diorella “Lala” Sotto-Antonio. She is the daughter of former Senate President Vicente Sotto III and Helen Gamboa Sotto. Here are some details about her.

Former Senate President Tito Sotto’s daughter Lala Sotto is currently trending online and this is the reason why.
Couple Tito Sotto and Helen Gamboa were blessed with four children namely Ciara Sotto, Gian Sotto, Lala Sotto, and Romina Sotto. His daughter Lala is currently chairperson of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
Last July 2022, she swore into office as a Presidential appointee under the Marcos administration.
And being a daughter of Tito who is a significant figure both in politics and show business, she was exposed to both fields. However, her name, as of this writing, is on the top trending list on Twitter.
First, let us who is Diorella Maria “Lala” Sotto-Antonio or Lala Sotto.
Tito and Helen’s daughter finished a Bachelor of Arts major in Consular Diplomatic Affairs degree from the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. She took Quezon City Executives and Legislators Planning Course at the University of the Philippines and attended and finished a program at the Harvard Kennedy School for Applying Behavioral Insights to the Design of Public Policy.
Throughout her career, she got extensive experience when it comes to public service.
She has over eighteen years of experience in the Local Government Unit of Quezon City (QC LGU). She also served as councilor of the Third (3rd) district of QC and was the Chief of Staff under the Commission on Appointments – Office of her father from 2010 to 2012.
Now, why is she trending online?
The MTRCB chair is being called out online after her office summoned Vice Ganda and Ion Perez due to their alleged indecent acts. This is after some people online complained about the incident where the Showtime hosts ate cake.
After these two were summoned, many people unraveled the video of her father and mother in the former’s show. Sotto was teasing the audience by giving his wife kisses in the neck.
With this, Lala was being called out online to also review this incident involving her mother and father and make a response to it as many believe that the cases of Vice-Ion and Tito-Helen displayed on television is similar.
