Sanya Lopez is happy to remain a Kapuso
Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez said that her GMA contract renewal is not just a mere contract but a “reward.”
Sanya is one of the homegrown talents of the Kapuso network. From doing small and supporting roles, the younger sister of actor Jak Roberto was able to land big and lead roles.
She was known for effectively portraying the leading lady role in First Yaya and eventually got a sequel First Lady for its success.
Just recently, Sanya Lopez renewed her contract with GMA Network. During the contract signing Kapuso executives were also present, as well as executives working under Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
During the interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Sanya expressed how thankful she is for this opportunity to remain a Kapuso. She said that she is overwhelmed and proud at the same time.
The actress also thanked the late German “Kuya Germs” Moreno who discovered her and gave her the chance to be in the entertainment industry.
Sanya also said that this was not just a contract renewal for her because she sees this as her reward. From being a simple girl who dreamed of a career in showbiz, she was given big opportunities by her home network.
“For me po, hindi siya basta kontrata na pinirmahan lang. Reward po siya para sa akin. Simple lang naman akong tao na nangarap at kayo po ang naging daan para matupad ‘yon. Gagawin ko po ang best ko at mananatili po akong Kapuso,” the actress said.
GMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe L. Gozon also expressed gratitude to Sanya Lopez for signing an exclusive contract with the Kapuso network. He said that it is a sign of loyalty that she has for her home network. The Kapuso executive added that Sanya will surely reach more heights in her acting career.
