Sanya Lopez shared these things about her character Yaya Melody
Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez revealed the lessons she learned from her first title role in the series First Yaya with Gabby Concepcion.
Sanya received an amazing project offer this year – to be the lead actress in a Kapuso series that was first offered to Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.
After the success of the series that is set to have its finale on July 2, Friday, Sanya shared that she learned a lot from her character, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
“Yung pagiging mas makatao at kung paano namin pang mas mahalin ang mga trabaho namin,” she said when asked about the personal and professional lesson she learned from playing Yaya Melody.
She also stressed that she now has a deeper understanding when it comes to the time spent with the family. Sanya Lopez also stressed that she has understood that people have their own struggles that are valuable despite their status in life.
“Isang bagay na na-realize ko dito sa First Yaya ay mahirap palang gumanap nang rom-com,” the actress admitted. She previously did the drama genre, as well as fantasy, thriller, romance, supernatural, and action.
“There are still many roles and characters I would like to play. I hope to do another rom-com to further hone my a cting skills in it,” Sanya Lopez expressed.
She also shared that she had a pleasant experience working with award-winning actor Gabby Concepcion as her leading man. The actress said that she was surprised that they have good onscreen chemistry. Sanya also commended the work ethic of the actor who knows how to adjust and relate to other people on the set.
