REQUIREMENTS FOR IRELAND VISA – Here are the documents needed in applying for an Irish Visa based on the purpose of visit.

Although Ireland requires a travel visa for entry, it has not kept its doors closed for many purposes. If you are flying to the country for the purpose of tourism, you must apply for a Tourist Visa by submitted the requirements for Ireland Visa application stated below:
- duly accomplished Ireland Visa Application Form
- valid Philippine Passport
- valid for another six months starting from the date of departure from Ireland
- at least two blank visa pages
- two (2) passport size photos taken in the last 6 months
- photos must be identical
- in color
- 45-50mm in height and 35-38mm in width
- face must occupy around 70-80% of the picture
- must also show your whole face, the top of your head, and the tops of your shoulder
- about 3mm from the top of the picture to the top of your head/hair
- neutral facial expression
- proof of payment of the Irish Visa fee
- proof of legal residence in the country from which you are applying
- cover letter about the purpose of travel
- proof of accommodation in Ireland
- details of your family or friends in Ireland
- details of previous visas
- proof of sufficient funds
- three (3) most recent payslips
- bank statements from the past six (6) months
- proof you will return to your country
- a self-addressed, pre-paid envelope
Aside from the general requirements stated above, there are additional requirements for Ireland Visa application if you will apply for a Student Visa or Work Visa.
Student Visa
- letter from school written on a headed letter and includes its contact details
- states the details of your course of study
- confirms that you will return to school after the end of your stay in Ireland
Work Visa
- letter from employer or company written on a headed letter and includes the contact details
- states the details of your position in the company
- confirms that you will return to work after the end of your stay in Ireland
To apply for the Irish Visa, you must submit your documents to the Embassy of Ireland in the Philippines. It is located at 30/F Tower 2, RCBC Plaza, 6819 Ayala Avenue, Makati City.
