This is what Carla Abellana revealed when asked about joining “Batang Quiapo”.
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana has this answer when asked about transferring to ABS-CBN and joining this top-rating Kapamilya series.
One of the most beautiful actresses on the GMA network is Carla Abellana. She is currently rumored to transfer All Access To Artists or Triple A of Direk Mike Tuviera. Along with this rumor is the speculation that she will be leaving the Kapuso network.
To recall, in a previous article, Carla shared a post about leaving which fueled the talks about her transferring to ABS-CBN.
But in a recent interview, she made a clarification regarding these talks about her rumored transfer and the speculations about her joining the top-rating series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
According to her, it is not true that she will be joining the BQ in its new season. However, when given the chance and opportunity to be a part of it, she will not refuse it. She would love to be a part of this top-rating Kapamilya series.
There’s no offer from them or from any other projects for her as of now.
“Kung bibigyan po ako ng opportunity, why not? My goodness! I would love to be part of Batang Quiapo. Pero wala naman pong offer. Wala pong inaalok sa akin na maging parte po ng Batang Quiapo,” she said.
As for her rumored transfer, she shared that her contract with her home network actually expired last May and it has not been renewed yet. She is guessing that this might be the reason why speculations about her leaving ignited.
But if she is to be asked what she wants, she will stay with GMA. She added based on a report from PEP, “Ang priority ko ngayon, ang negotiation ko na network contract basically. Siyempre, yun ang pinakaimportante po, e.”
She values her job and her home network which is why she is focusing on them as of now. And even though her ex-husband will return, she will still stay if given the chance. She’s been with GMA for 14 years and her loyalty is with this network.
