ABS-CBN Ball is to return in September for a ‘new chapter’. This much-anticipated event will happen on September 30. After a three-year pause, this big event is finally and this will surely gather the biggest and brightest stars of the industry.
This event is accordingly going to be an event of giving back and gratitude. Apart from the party and glam, this occasion will also serve as a fund-raising event and the ball’s proceeds will be dedicated to the ABS-CBN Foundation.
One of the stars expected to grace this affair is Andrea Brillantes. She is currently one of the best actresses of her generation and she’s been with ABS-CBN her entire career.
Four years ago, she attended this event with her former love team partner and ex-boyfriend Seth Fedelin. In 2023, she walked the red carpet of the Star Magic Prom in March 2023 with her then-boyfriend Ricci Rivero.
But this year, she shared that she will be sharing the red carpet with no one.
She will be attending the event without a date. This is accordingly a perfect moment for her to cherish this phase as a woman who is single and as an artist who is no longer tied to someone as a love team.
“It’s my first ever [red carpet walk] na ako lang. On-cam, off-cam, ako na ‘to! Solo na! … Ito ‘yung time ko, e! Ito ‘yung first time kong maglalakad na solo artist. Gusto ko magka moment ako na ayoko nang i-share sa mga lalaki,” she said.
In the same interview, she remembered her last ball. She was just 16 years old then and this time around, she is sure that is going to enjoy the moment unlike before when she felt pressured she did not enjoy it.
As for her outfit, she opted for something smaller than she used to have for this kind of event. She chose to have something that was not loud but appropriate for her age.
