Turning 26 years old on September 22 is actress-singer Maris Racal. She is currently in a relationship with OPM singer-songwriter Rico Blanco. They have been together for quite a while now and their age gap was never an issue.
They confirmed their relationship in May 2021. In a previous article, Racal talked about weddings and admitted that she is not yet ready for things like this and Blanco knows it.
“So, definitely, may mga ganoong talk. Na, anong gusto ko in the future, kailan, ganyan. But hindi kami super focus doon,” Maris admitted her wedding thoughts. But she already has something in her mind. She wants to tie the knot in San Agustin Church but this is not final yet.
And recently, as turns 26 years old, Rico shared a post greeting her on her special day with some of their photos. He also put a short and sweet caption on the post calling her his “sunshine” and “star”.
He wrote, “more adventures more dates more memories with you happy birthday my sunshine my star.”

According to Rico, he did not instantly fall in love with Maris. It accordingly happened sometime after they had worked together. He could not pinpoint when it happened specifically but it was after their collaboration that he has finally seen her in another light.
Meanwhile, the male singer-songwriter was formerly a member of the Rivermaya band but left. He decided to become a solo artist in 2008. He famed the songs 214, Umaaraw Umuulan, Your Universe, Antukin, Kisapmata, Elesi, Himala, Liwanag Sa Dilim, Yugto, Awit Ng Kabataan, and many others.
