A shoplifter passed out after being chokehold by a concerned citizen over an alleged minor theft.

According to reports, the victim suffered a severe spinal injury and a broken neck due to the man’s chokehold.
In the video, the shoplifter can be seen not fighting back. In fact, he had already stopped moving and even tapped the guard’s arm, a clear sign that he was struggling to breathe. Despite this, the chokehold was not released.
Authorities are now searching for the guard involved. The video quickly spread online, drawing anger and disappointment. Many expressed frustrations over how harshly the man was treated, especially since the theft involved a small amount.
