The famous actress who is now living in Cebu had netizens talking about her after she was recorded being escorted by a lot of bodyguards while she was going grocery shopping. It amused a lot of netizens but the actress has a story behind it and she shared the real story in an interview.

In an interview, Kaye Abad did not expect her video to go viral, and with the loud buzz it created, this is what she said about it.
TV personality Paul Jake Castillo appeared to have adopted the approach of dealing with controversial topics in a funny and humorous way. In a new video he posted, he shared a clip of his wife Kaye Abad being surrounded by “waiters”.
This is following the video of Kaye doing groceries with several of her “bodyguards” accompanying her.
Netizens expressed dissatisfaction with the apparent presence of bodyguards accompanying Kaye. But on Instagram, the actress promptly refuted the accusation. In a post, she shared, “I’m always alone when I do my groceries. Or sometimes kasama ko ang kids. Pero walang ‘bodyguards’ (rolling on the floor laughing emojis).”
And recently, in an interview with Radyo 630, she was surprised at how people reacted to the short video of hers. She then revealed what is the real story behind it.
Accordingly, the bodyguards behind her were sent by the local grocery store she collaborated with to escort her.
“Nakakaloka,” she quipped describing the incident. She then added, “I explained it on my social media na I did a collaboration with this supermarket. And then, so nagpadala sila ng bodyguard.”
She then told the bodyguards to just let her be as the people there are actually used to seeing her doing groceries alone.
However, they insisted on escorting her, so, she just let her be. Kaye then expressed based on a report from PEP, “So yun, yung nag-viral, hindi po sa akin yung bodyguards na yun, sa supermarket po. Sabi ko nga, wala nga ako driver, bodyguards pa?”
Meanwhile, in a previous article, Kaye chose to be loyal to ABS-CBN. As much as we all know, after marrying the former PBB housemate, she stayed for good in Cebu for her family and stepped out of the limelight.
