Ogie Diaz reveals something about the absence of Carlo Aquino at his daughter’s birthday party.
CARLO AQUINO – According to Ogie Diaz, Trina Candaza invited the actor to their daughter’s birthday party but he was not able to come.
Trina Candaza celebrates Mithi’s 3rd birthday but without her father Carlo Aquino. She held a unicorn-inspired party for their child who just turned three years old and the actor was noticeably nowhere in sight during the gathering.
Candaza shared several snaps from the party which was attended by family, friends, and showbiz personalities like Ogie Diaz and JC Santos.
“Enola Mithi’s 3rd Birthday [sparkle emoji] Thank you to everyone who attended Mithi’s special day,” her Instagram post caption reads. As seen in the photos, Mithi was wearing a peach-colored dress and they looked happy.
As mentioned, one of the guests is Ogie Diaz and in his latest video, he shared what Trina said regarding Aquino being absent from this special day of their daughter’s life. To recall, last year, Carlo and Trina were together to celebrate Mithi’s 2nd birthday even though they had already separated.
They welcomed Mithi on September 7, 2020.
Diaz asked Candaza about it and the latter admitted that she actually invited him and his family to come over. However, no one showed up including the actor.
“Ininvite, tinext niya in fairness. At sabi nga ni Trina sa akin, sinabi ni Carlo na ita-try daw niyang humabol. Baka naman kasi di nagkatugma ng schedule, kunyari meron siyang trabaho tas nasabay dun sa birthday ni Mithi,” he said. The real reason was not divulge bur it must probably be his schedule as he is quite jam-packed as an actor.
According to Trina, the invitation was for the sake of Mithi but none of them showed up. As for Carlo, he promised to make it up. Trina confirmed that he promised to visit Mithi soon.
“Pero sabi naman ni Trina, eh nangako naman daw si Carlo na sa ibang araw, pupuntahan na lamang ni Carlo si Mithi,” he revealed based on the video.
Regardless, this year’s party has been a joyful celebration for Mithi as she was showered with love and gifts from people who love her.
