What’s the reason behind the recent conflict between KC Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta?
It is confirmed that celebrities KC Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta have a recent conflict and a talent manager has spoken about this.
KC and Sharon already had conflicts in the past and the showbiz industry has known about this. Just recently, it was speculated that another rift has occurred between the mother-daughter tandem.
In a recent interview, KC said that she loves her mother and that she hopes someday Sharon will realize this. The Megastar also shared a meaningful post featuring an excerpt from Peter Pan and this added fuel to the fire of rift speculations.
Based on the article in PEP, there were speculations that this is just a sort of promotion for the new projects of Sharon Cuneta and KC Concepcion.
The Megastar will have an upcoming concert with her ex-husband, KC’s father, Gabby Concepcion. KC is also promoting her new movie Asian Persuasion. Amid the promo speculations, a talent manager (who was not named by PEP) expressed that the recent rift is focused on “family matter.”
“This is a family matter,” the talent manager said, adding that this conflict will be resolved within the Pangilinan family. KC recently admitted that she unfollowed her stepdad Kiko Pangilinan and her stepsister Frankie Pangilinan on Instagram for her peace of mind.
Then, the talent manager stressed that above anything else, Sharon is a mother and she values and prioritizes this role. “No situation, no challenge, and no provocation will change that. A mother will never knowingly put any of her children in a bad light,” the talent manager said.
When asked what triggered the recent conflict, the talent manager just gave a hint. It was said that the current issue is not new anymore.
PEP’s sources shared that Sharon, Frankie, and Kiko are not in favor of KC Concepcion’s relationship with her Swiss boyfriend Mike Wuetrich. She recently spoke about her love life.
