Jak Roberto talked about his relationship with Barbie Forteza
Kapuso actor Jak Roberto was asked about the secret behind his strong relationship with his girlfriend actress Barbie Forteza.
Jak and Barbie have been together for six years already. These recent months, their relationship was put under the spotlight because of Barbie’s loveteam with actor David Licauco.
Previously, Jak was asked if he feels “selos” because his girlfriend has a different onscreen partner. He said with all honesty that he does not feel jealous because he understands that this is just a part of his girlfriend’s job.
This is the reason why netizens joked that they want to enroll in Jak Roberto’s “anti-selos” class. The actor, on the other hand, admitted that he feels “nalulungkot” and it is because of the comments that are already below the belt.
In an interview, based on the article in Bandera, Jak stressed that he and Barbie that work is work, and their love life is a different thing. He said that they have been together for six years and they don’t intervene when it comes to each other’s work.
When asked about the secret that they have for their strong relationship, Jak said there is none. “Wala namang secret. Basta hindi nawawala yung trust and respect namin sa isa’t isa. Walang selos-selos, basta go, trabaho lang. We’re all professionals,” the actor said.
Jak also shared that he and David are friends. David respects Barbie and Jak’s relationship, and the latter is thankful for this.
The actor also said that she and Barbie have talked about settling down in their past conversations. However, they are still prioritizing their careers right now. Jak Roberto said that Barbie Forteza is really focused on her acting career because she aims for longevity in the entertainment industry.
