Jak Roberto was asked about the loveteam of Barbie Forteza and David Licauco
The loveteam of Kapuso star Barbie Forteza and David Licauco unexpectedly caught the attention of many showbiz fans and their successful tandem received a reaction from the actress’s real-life boyfriend Jak Roberto.
Barbie and Jak have been together for six years already. When Barbie was paired with David in the series Maria Clara at Ibarra, many people noticed their chemistry is something that would bring “kilig.”
With that, they became an official Kapuso loveteam called BarDa, previously known as FiLay in MCAI. Following their movie project, they are also set to be featured in a series.
In a recent article published on PEP’s website, it was said that Jak Roberto flexed his six-year relationship with Barbie Forteza. He said that he is happy that they are very supportive of each other’s endeavors.
“Happy rin ako for her, support-support lang sa lahat ng achievements and marami kaming nilu-look forward ngayong darating na taon,” Jak said. He also said that he is proud of Barbie’s achievements, as well as the successful loveteam that she has with David.
With the frequent togetherness of Barbie and David as loveteam partners, Jak was asked if he feels jealous. The latter understands that this is just work. “Walang selos, go lang! Professional lang tayo, trabaho lang,” he said.
He added that he does not mind that his girlfriend has a different onscreen partner because this is part of their job. Jak is also aware of the sentiments of some fans who reacted to the BarDa loveteam.
“Nakakatuwa nga lahat nung mga fans. Minsan nagte-trending ako sa Twitter [nang] hindi ko alam. Basta sasabihin lang sa akin, ‘Huy, trending ka sa Twitter.’ Sabi ko, ‘Bakit?'” Jak said.
He also stressed that he is happy for Barbie and David’s success as loveteam partners. Jake Roberto added that he is supporting the BarDa loveteam. He also said that he is touched by the messages of people who got affected by the loveteam of his girlfriend with another actor.
