Billy Crawford has this reason for joining TVG
Internationally acclaimed singer Billy Crawford shared his reaction when he was offered to be one of the coaches in The Voice Generations.
Billy has been in the entertainment industry practically his entire life. His showbiz career started when he was just a little boy. He was known as one of the child stars in the 1990s. Over the years, he has already done various projects in showbiz.
He is a recording artist, a total performer, and did some hosting and acting stints as well. His most recent role in a show is as a coach. Billy was chosen to be TVG’s coach along with Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda who is his “kinatatakutan”, Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose, and S19’s Heavenly Voice Stell Ajero.
In a recent video clip shared on TVG’s X Page, Billy Crawford answered the question about his reaction when this stint was offered to him.
He admitted that he was curious but he was confused as well. It is because he had no idea what would happen in the show. He knew that the show is a franchise of a show abroad. Billy shared that he had the same reaction with Coach Stell as he also made clarifications about his role in the show.
The singer also mentioned that he thought he would be a mentor who would just help one of the coaches. “I never thought that I actually be part of the turning chairs,” he said referring to the famous red revolving chair of The Voice franchise.
Billy also shared that when he learned about the other coaches and having Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes as the host, that was what made him so excited. “Parang nandiyan na lahat, from appetizers to main course to dessert,” he said.
