Ogie Diaz Gives Pura Luka Vega Some Advice

Ogie Diaz Offers Advice To Pura Luka Vega

OGIE DIAZ – Talent manager and showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz turned to Twitter and gave a message to Pura Luka Vega in connection with the controversy surrounding the latter.

Due to the disrespectful rendition of a sacred Catholic song, “Ama Namin,” Pura Luka Vega was declared a “persona non grata” or unwelcome person in many places in the country.

Here are some of the places Pura Luka is not allowed to enter: Manila, Cebu City, Floridablanca in Pampanga, General Santos City, Toboso in Negros Occidental, Bukidnon, Dinagat Islands, Nueva Ecija, Laguna, Occidental Mindoro, Coron in Palawan, and South Cotabato.

Additionally, Pura Luka Vega is facing various complaints from religious groups such as “Hijos del Nazareno – Central” and “Philippines for Jesus Movement.” According to these groups, Pura Luka violated Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code, which pertains to “indecent shows, publications, or exhibitions,” including Section 6 of the Cybercrime Prevention Act.

Despite this, Pura Luka previously held a “persona non grata tour” wherein they lip-synced to Taylor Swift’s popular track “Look What You Made Me Do” while holding a photo of themselves in a Black Nazarene outfit.

Just recently, Pura Luka appealed for donations on social media to support her upcoming court appearance. She didn’t specify the case she’s facing, but in her post, she mentioned that she will use the money for her scheduled court hearings this September. “We’re going to court [and] we need your help more than ever,” the drag artist said. “Your donations will go to Luka’s family and transpo/food for their court dates this September.”
