Are you in need of a copy of your Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) or more popularly called the Birth Certificate? You can obtain it from the Philippine Statistics Authority which is the state-run national statistic institution in the country.

The PSA is in charge of the registration of births, marriages, and deaths in the Philippines. Thus, it is the government body where the Filipino populace can request for their COLBs, the Death Certificate of their loved ones, a Marriage Certificate, and the Certificate of No Record of Marriage or more popularly called the CENOMAR.

The PSA has set different requirements in requesting for the COLB, the  PSA Marriage Certificate requirements, the  PSA Birth Certificate requirements, and the PSA Death Certificate requirements.

How much is PSA Birth Certificate? The amount that you must prepare in requesting for your Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) depends if you will personally claim the document at your chosen PSA branch office or you want to have it delivered at your residence or workplace.

Under the latter, you need to prepare an addition fee for the courier, payment facilitation, convenience, and service charges. For documents on delivery, you need to prepare the following:

Courier Fee — Php 50.00
Payment Facilitation, Convenience, and Service Fee — Php 160.00
Document Fee — Php 155.00

Total Fee: Php 365.00

If you will personally claim your COLB, you only have to pay for the Document Fee which is Php 155.00. There are PSA Birth Certificate requirements that you must prepare in making a request of the said document to PSA.
