Indian National Known for Lending Business in Angeles City, Pampanga Shot Dead During Drinking Session

An Indian national who operates a lending business has been shot during a drinking session in Angeles City, Pampanga.

The victim who has been known as a businessperson engaged in lending activities was socializing with his friends when he was fatally shot. . The incident was captured on camera

The CCTV camera captured the victim in the company of two companions, engaged in a casual drinking session in Barangay Tabun. After a few moments, a motorcycle rider arrives in the area and shoot the victim’s head from behind.

Angeles City Police Station 3 commander Police Major Mark Niel Mauti said that the gunman immediately flees the scene while his two drinking buddies escape unharmed.

According to the police authorities, the Indian national is known for his lending activities in the area potentially suggesting a connection between his business dealings and the tragic incident.

The authorities are considering the possibility that the crime was planned with the assailant appearing to have prior knowledge of the victim’s presence.

The victim’s live-in partner revealed that there had been no threats against him and the residents could rarely understand his language.

“Ang sabi ng kaniyang live-in partner, wala naman siyang nakukuhang threat and mostly ng mga kausap ng victim is yung salita nila is yung language ng India kaya hindi din niya masyadong maintindihan,” Mautin said.

The police will continue to investigate the incident to trace and arrest the suspect. While the gunman’s identity remains unknown, the police are not ruling out the possibility of a point person in the area who can give information about the victim’s location.

The incident has ignited concerns and conversations about personal safety within the community.
