Among the celebrity brides this July is Maja Salvador. She tied the knot with Rambo Nunez, her boyfriend for over four years. However, before their grand wedding in Bali, they already had a civil wedding last February 14, on the day of their 4th anniversary as a couple.
Maja and Rambo’s civil wedding was for the sake of their wedding to be valid in the Philippines. According to her, their wedding in Bali will not be honored in the Philippines which is why they decided to have a civil wedding prior for technical reasons.
Their civil union was held at the Grand Hyatt Manila and less than 60 guests attended this event. And this was kept secret. It was difficult but it was kept proving this event to be a success as intended.
And recently, days after their wedding at the Apurva Kempinski Bali in Indonesia, Rambo’s mother and sister penned heartfelt messages for the couple.
In an Instagram post, Rambo’s sister expressed that Maja and Rambo’s love story is one of her absolute favorite love stories. She also wrote in her post, “Ate, chicoy and the kids will always be here for you both.”
In the Instagram account of Rambo’s mother, she expressed the same thoughts about their love story.
“Of all the versions of a great love story that I’ve witnessed in my life, one that I love most is when they let go of one another, only to eventually find their way back to each other. And that’s exactly the story of Rambo and Maja,” she wrote.
They were both referring to the amazing timeline of the love story of the newlyweds. Maja was just 21 years old when Rambo became her boyfriend. However, they were too young back then and they were both just finding their spot in their chosen careers.
The relationship lasted for only four months. But nine years after, they were able to find each other again. Maja once said that she will never get back to an ex-boyfriend but it looks like breaking her own words was all worth it.
