Vice Ganda and Ion Summoned But Not Tito Sotto For Doing This?

MTRCB summoned Its Showtime producers for Vice Ganda and Ion Perez. Will they also summon EAT because of this thing done by Tito Sotto?

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) summoned the producers behind It’s Showtime. This is after they received complaints over this incident that happened in the show’s “Isip Bata” segment.

According to the press release, MTRCB issued a notice regarding the “alleged indecent acts” of Vice and Ion Perez, Showtime hosts on the July 25 episode.

The producers were asked to appear and testify regarding the matter. The scene was accordingly in violation of Section 3 (c) Presidential Decree No. 1986. This section gives MTRCB the power to “approve or disapprove, delete objectionable portions from and/or prohibit the importation, exportation, production, copying, distribution, sale, lease, exhibition and/or television broadcast of the motion pictures, television programs, and publicity materials.”

ABS-CBN and It’s Showtime have yet to release a statement about this issue.

This has created a loud buzz online. Many people noticed the conflict of interest in this situation. A video of Tito Sotto doing this on television to his wife circulated online and many people wondered why MTRCB did not summon them.

And it seems, for many netizens, this could be the reason why. Chairperson Diorella Maria “Lala” Sotto-Antonio is the chair of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) Philippines. She is the daughter of Sotto and she was a Presidential appointee under the Marcos administration.

Kaya malaswa tignan ung ginawa nun showtime Kasi Bata Ang kaharap at may pagkasexual . While Tito sotto express his loving gesture. Wala reason ung gamitin Ang pagiging anak kaya nagpatawag. Iba Ang sexual act on public sa loving gesture. Hindi ako fan Ng kahit anong show pero Hindi lang talaga maganda ung dating Kay Showtime.
