An emotional mom has shared a heartbreaking story after losing her two kids this year due to various diseases.
Facebook user Mei Antido Piolino opened up about her emotional journey dealing with the tragic passing of her two children this year, evoking various reactions from the online community.
Piolino’s three-year-old child, Marcus Gabriel P. Lopez, succumbed to juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia on June 11, 2023. Tragically, her youngest child, Athena Cassandra P. Lopez, passed away due to heart failure on July 21, 2023.
Expressing her gratitude amidst immense sorrow, the broken-hearted mother thanked those who prayed and provided financial assistance for their daily necessities.
“Maraming maraming salamat din po sa lahat ng taong walang sawang nagdadasal at tumutulong para sa pamilya namin,” Mei said.
“Masaya ako kasi may mga tao na kahit hindi kami kilala, binibigyan nila kami ng advice, mga bible verses na makakapagpagaan ng damdamin namin,” she added.
Mei also expressed her gratitude to the Tondo Medical Center, doctors, nurses, and staff, particularly Doc Danilo Casasola, for their care and efforts to save her children.
“Thank you, Tondo Medical Center, Doctors, Nurses & Staff. Especially Doc Danilo Casasola for taking care of my two angels. Alam ko po na sobrang hirap din sa part mo dahil napalapit ka po sa mga anak ko, sa pagpapalakas ng loob ko kasi alam mong iyakin ako. Alam ko din pong ginawa mo lahat ng best mo para makasurvive sila at sobrang na-appreciate ko po yun,” Piolino wrote.
The woman’s heartfelt story serves as a poignant reminder of the beauty of humanity and the resilience of the human spirit in times of sorrow.
