For Joshua Garcia, Barbie Forteza was the best dressed at the GMA Gala 2023
Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza and Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcua has this Twitter conversation that amused netizens.
Joshua attended the GMA Gala 2023 as his teleserye Unbreak My Heart is also being aired on the Kapuso network. The two biggest TV networks in the Philippines have started partnering with each other when it comes to TV shows and not just movies.
This is the reason why there are Kapamilya stars who joined the Kapuso event. During the gala, Joshua was asked who among the female celebrities he considered the best dressed.
The Kapamilya actor mentioned Barbie Forteza. Joshua Garcia said that he saw the Kapuso actress on the red carpet and although her dress was not that flashy, she exuded elegance.
Barbie reacted to this comment from the Kapamilya actor. “Tama ka naman diyan. Hahaha! Salamat!” she wrote in the caption of her Twitter post featuring the video clip of Joshua’s statement about her.
The Kapamilya actor replied to this. “Pa-tip nalang po o pa-five star, salamat po! [winking face emoji],” he quipped.
In the comment section, netizens shared their amused reactions. A netizen even requested GMA, ABS-CBN, and film companies to make a project featuring Joshua and Barbie. There were also those who said that this is already a love triangle.
Barbie Forteza is in a six-year relationship with Kapuso actor Jak Roberto. However, her current onscreen partner is David Licauco and their love team is known as BarDa. Aside from Joshua, Barbie also reacted to Jak and David’s interviews.
Meanwhile, the solo carpet walk that Barbie did during the GMA Gala 2023 somehow became an issue for some fans. There were those who said that this is the result of the toxic loveteam culture in showbiz but the Kapuso actress reacted to this with a line from Taylor Swift’s song Bejeweled.
