Veteran actress Rita Avila gives shares her reactions to the controversial fan of the Broadway singer Lea Salonga.

The seasoned actress issued a message on her official Facebook page regarding the admirer who reportedly violated Lea’s limits. Rita replied to Christoper Carpila’s frank words.

Carpila is the infamous social media fan who posted about his experience with singer Lea Salonga. Carpila allegedly videotaped the event, in which Lea could be heard criticizing a group of fans who allegedly entered her dressing room without being on the guest list.

Christopher stated in a statement that he had no regrets about posting the video and that he was merely trying to cope with his disappointment. According to him, he is not feeling ‘entitled’; he is simply being honest and felt like a cockroach that had been trampled on.

“Ang pag-post ko ng video ay way ko para mailabas ko ‘yung naramdaman ko noong gabing iyon. Hindi po ako nag-pi-feeling ‘entitled’, honest lamang po ako pero para akong ipis na inapakan o kuto na tiniris. Gulat na gulat po kaming lahat,” he said.

Rita then responded briefly to Christopher’s statement, stating that people should avoid persons like Carpila. While she understands that some fans may be offended when their idols decline a photo opportunity, she also stated that celebrities are human, and their privacy should be respected.

“If the brain is smaller than a pea like a lice.. BEWARE,” Rita wrote in the caption of her post.

“Minsan napapahiya ang gustong magpapicture sa artista pag tinanggihan sila. Minsan sana maisip nyo rin na baka may dinadalang mabigat yung artista na di kaya “mamlastik” sa moment na yun. Baka nagmamadali talaga. Baka naiihi na. Baka nahihilo na. Baka feeling nila ang pangit nila para magpapicture. Tao rin po sila na minsan hindi handa.” she said.

“Kung masungit, sipain nyo. Hehehe. Biro lang. Gaya nyo, may mga moments din sila na hindi OK. Eh sa kaso ni Ms. Lea, nagpapicture naman sha dun sa tamang lugar,” she added.

Meanwhile, Lea defended her behavior toward Carpila and his friend. Several personalities expressed reactions to Lea’s dressing room issue. Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda quipped about Broadway diva’s issue and her post about “boundaries.” Social media personality Rendon Labador criticized the viral encounter of the singer with her fans and called her “plastic”.
