Sabrina M Denies She Will Be Filing Case Against Claudine Barretto
90s actress Sabrina M belies claims that she is allegedly planning to file a case against seasoned actress Claudine Barretto.
To recall, talent manager and showbiz vlogger Ogie Diaz revealed the approach of returning actress against personalities belying her claims about her relationship with late actor Rico in his showbiz vlog. According to Ogie, Sabrina wanted to bring anyone who sought to discredit her Rico story accountable.
“Magdedemanda daw itong si Sabrina M. Nakipagkita na sa tatlong lawyers niya… Magdedemanda raw si Sabrina ng kung sino ‘yung mga nanira daw sa kanya doon kay Rico Yan. Hindi nga siya nag-public apology. Wala raw siyang dapat i-apologize,” said Ogie.
Sabrina was supposedly planning to charge Claudine Barretto and Katrina Paolo. According to Ogie, she would also file lawsuits against a number of celebrity reporters, including Cristy Fermin.
In the midst of reports of impending legal action between Sabrina M and Claudine, the former denied initiating a complaint against the latter. Sabrina M, real name Maricaren Pallasigue, emphasized that there is no reason for me to sue Claudine because she is not doing anything or making any statements.
“Saan daw kaya nanggaling yung issue na si Claudine, e, kakasuhan ko? Wala naman pong grounds para kasuhan ko si Claudine kasi wala naman siyang ginagawa or any statement. So, hindi po totoo yung kay Claudine. False information po yan,” she said.
“Masyado nilang pinalalaki yung sa amin ni Claudine. Wala naman dapat isyu dahil tahimik naman siya. No comment nga po siya, di ba? Kaya nagtataka ako saan galing ang issue na yan. Ang sa akin lang, huwag na nila masyadong palakihin at gatungan ang isyu,” she added.
Sabrina made waves recently when she claimed in a press conference that she had a “secret relationship” with late matinée idol Rico Yan. Their connection evolved after Rico’s romance with Claudine, she claims.
Claudine, on the other hand, rejected Sabrina’s assertions. In actuality, Sabrina’s friend Katrina Paula had broken her silence to deny Sabrina and Rico Yan were dating.
