Rabiya Mateo talked about her relationship with Jeric Gonzales
Kapuso actress Rabiya Mateo said that she does not regret giving a second chance to her boyfriend actor Jeric Gonzales and having a new start in their relationship.
Rabiya and Jeric’s relationship went through a controversial phase. Following the issue accusing the actor of having a relationship with a gay benefactor, rumors surfaced that he and the actress broke up.
Amid the breakup speculations, the couple remained silent. They neither confirmed nor denied the rumors about their relationship.
Later on, it was confirmed that they ended broke up for a short period of time but they were able to reconcile. In a recent episode of Fast Talk, the Kapuso talk show of King of Talk Boy Abunda, Rabiya Mateo stood by her decision to give her relationship with Jeric Gonzales another try.
“Alam mo Tito Boy, kasi noong ako lang mag-isa, mas hirap ako na wala siya. Parang mas okay na lang na kainin ‘yong pride ko. You know, to learn to understand, kaysa nawala siya. So, parang doon ko na-realize na, we need to give this relationship a second time and hindi ko siya pinagsisihan,” the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 revealed.
Jeric said that their relationship is worth fighting for. The actor thanked his girlfriend for not regretting her decision to continue their relationship.
He added that he already had several past relationships but the one he has with Rabiya now is worth to be defended. Jeric admitted that he felt he can’t move on when they broke up. For him, having this mindset, it means that it is true love.
Meanwhile, Rabiya Mateo is able to have the chance to work with her crush Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes in the series Royal Blood. However, she made sure that Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, the wife of Dingdong, has nothing to worry about in their onscreen partnership,
