One of the iconic and most successful OPM stars is Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez. She is considered as among the most influential personalities in the show business. She surely has set the benchmark for all Filipino balladeers and belters to come.
And to be admired by someone such as Asia’s Songbird is surely a great privilege.
Recently, the veteran singer left a comment on the latest single of young actress-singer Belle Mariano. The young artist released her latest single “Somber & Solemn” and Velasquez left a comment praising her.
“Wow what a beautiful song and voice 😊” says the Songbird in her post and this was something unforgettable for Belle.
In an interview, she expressed how surprised and excited she was by the comment. She has seen it at 12 midnight and the first thing she did was rush to her mother and inform her about it.
“Like grabe, sobra, she’s one of my inspirations when it comes to music. Grabe to be praised by Ms. Regine, my gosh, thank you so much,” she said.
Belle and Regine are both part of ASAP and the younger star has actually already asked some tips from the legendary singer. She has asked for some tips from her when it comes to singing and the Songbird, according to her, has always been approachable based on a report from ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, Belle has an upcoming concert “Beloved” at the New Frontier Theater on Saturday, July 22, and she is hoping that Regine could be a part of it. The tickets for her concern are already sold out.
It’s been sold out ahead of her main event and she is happy about it.
