REGINE TOLENTINO – During the Its Showtime performance of Regine Tolentino, something unexpected happened and this is what she said.
Actress-dancer Regine Tolentino was among the first batch of talents of ABS-CBN’s talent arm. She rose to fame and got famous and was even the first Pinoy VJ of MTV Asia. She is called the “Dance Diva” and in addition to her achievements, she is now a successful entrepreneur.
She was married to Lander Vera Perez but in 2016, she confirmed that they have officially separated.
The actress remains active in show business. She is seen on Showtime most of the time but recently, while she was performing on stage during the July 14 episode of the program, something unexpected happened to her.
On July 14, she and Sheree performed a dazzling and sizzling number. She was wearing a green fitted cropped top with short shorts and knee-high boots. Her outfit was a bit sizzling and she suffered from a wardrobe malfunction amid her all-out performance.
She spoke about this incident and explained what really happened.
According to her, some things about her outfit were not put together in a secured manner. They also had a short amount of time to prepare. She said, “Unfortunately, when I started dancing, mejo na over ‘hataw’ ko and I had a costume mishap that I discovered halfway through my performance.”
Some of the hosts and crew were signalling her while she was performing but did not understand it at first until she looked down. She felt terrified and humiliated but as a professional, she needed to go on with her performance.
She apologized to Showtime and thanked the program for removing the part where it happened.
“I appreciate the effort of the It’s Showtime! family for protecting me by removing my part on Youtube and disabling the fast forward and rewind feature,” she expressed based on her post.
