The Pag-IBIG Fund members who are living in areas struck by a calamity has a loan offer that they may turn to – the Calamity Loan. It aims to assist members in the recovery from the impacts of the natural disaster.

To qualify for the Calamity Loan offer, the member-borrower must be living in areas stricken by a calamity as declared by the President’s Office or the Sangguniang Bayan and must possess the following qualities:

  • at least twenty-four (24) monthly membership savings under the Pag-IBIG Regular Savings;
  • Active membership, by having at least one (1) monthly membership savings within the last six (6) months prior to the date of loan application;
  • If with an existing Pag-IBIG Housing Loan, Multi-Purpose Loan and/or Calamity Loan, the account/s must not be in default; and
  • Proof of income.

Under this loan offer, you may borrow up to 80% of your total monthly savings. Thus, if you have posted P10,000 already, your maximum loanable amount is P8,000.
