After a failed long-term relationship, Sunshine Cruz remains open for love.
SUNSHINE CRUZ – Actress Sunshine Cruz shares that she is still open to new love despite the failure of her two previous relationships.
In a previous article, actress Sunshine Cruz confirmed that she and Macky Mathay broke up and she chose to remain silent. She wanted to become silent because they both have kids involved and she doesn’t want them dragged into their issue.
“So, nag-decide ako na maging quiet na lang, kasi hindi naman talaga alam ng publiko kung ano yung mga pinagdadaanan namin or kung ano yung pinagdaanan ko,” she said.
And recently, in an interview with Karen Davila, she revealed the real reason why she decided to end their relationship that almost lasted six years.
In the interview, she revealed that she initiated the split. It happened five days before their 6th anniversary and during this time, she was on a locked-in taping. Through a message, she said this: ‘I don’t think may patutunguhan pa tong relationship so…’
She feels like their relationship is not leveling up. It became still and at her age, she wanted more. But he is a good guy. She saw how he loves his children.
“Pero siyempre, at this point in my life, I am 45, siyempre parang naghahanap na tayo ng relationship na kahit papano, lumi-level up,” she said.
And in the same interview, despite the failure of her two long-term serious relationships, she remained hopeful about love. She is open to welcoming a new person into her life and to a new relationship.
However, she is not open to marrying again. She can settle with someone who can become her life partner as love, for her is beautiful. It feels good to be in love, the “kilig”, and to have inspiration.
She added based on the interview, “So, kung may dumating na para sa akin, bakit hindi? Lahat naman tayo ay may karapatan naman tayong mahalin at magmahal.”
