Arrested Man Suffers Injuries After He Jumps from Window of Manila City Hall
A man who was recently arrested for indiscriminate firing jumps from the window of the Manila City Hall building.
Lyle Adams Fernandez, 32, a construction worker from Barangay Anolis Mangaldan in Pangasinan, was identified as the suspect. According to the report, Fernandez was recently arrested after allegedly refusing to break up with his live-in partner and firing his revolver indiscriminately.
Meanwhile, the suspect leaps from the third-floor window of the Manila City Hall building. According to the CCTV footage of Manila City Hall, the suspect can be seen going through the building’s hallway with his escort in front of him.
When the event occurred, the suspect was scheduled to appear at the office of Assistant City Prosecutor Glen R Romano for Inquest Proceedings. Workers from the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Office (MDRRMO) arrived and took the victim to a hospital for treatment.
Police were also able to speak with the guy and seize the.38 revolver weapon he was using. According to the report, Fernandez’s right leg was broken, and he was injured.
The two officers assisting him, who are both assigned to the Ermita Police Station, will be investigated to see whether they have any responsibility or negligence for the suspect’s jump. According to the police, the suspect is still alive and being treated at the hospital.
