After the claims of Sabrina M about Rico Yan, the lawyer of Claudine Barretto did this.
CLAUDINE BARRETTO – Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, the lawyer of Claudine Barretto, gives Sabrina M three days to apologize for her false claims.
In a previous article, Ogie Diaz shared that Claudine Barretto is planning to take legal action against Sabrina M for claiming that she and Rico Yan had a romantic relationship. She claimed that she was his last girlfriend before he passed away and this is something Claudine and the last actor’s brother have known for a long time.
However, Diaz said that Sabrina M’s claims were false. There is accordingly no truth to what she said.
She actually received negative comments because of this but these comments were dismissed by her. To recall, Sabrina made this claim during the promotion of a new film she’s a part of and Diaz said, “Bakit Sabrina? Bakit kailangang mag-imbento kung gustong magbalik?”
And recently, in an interview with Cristy Fermin in her program, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, the lawyer of Claudine, gave Sabrina an ultimatum of three days to apologize for the false statements she spread.
The lawyer detailed the narrative of Sabrina and noted that it seems impossible for them to be in a relationship for years when Rico and Claudine broke up in 2001 and the actor died in 2002.
“Pinalalabas po kasi ni Sabrina M na si Rico Yan ay two-timer at alam naman daw ni Claudine, kung alam ito ni Claudine ay napakababa naman ng moralidad ni Claudine na pumapayag siya na dalawa sila sa buhay ni Rico Yan?” says Atty. Topacio.
The lawyer added that she must not use someone who cannot defend himself anymore. And with this, he gave her three days to apologize to Claudine and to Rico’s family, or else, they will be forced to take things in a legal way based on the interview.
