The Samsung Galaxy Buddy 2 was officially announced on August 4, 2022. The smartphone is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery + 25W fast charging. It is available in three colors: Deep Green, Light Blue, and Orange Copper.
Body & Display:
The phone measures 165.5 x 77 x 8.4 mm and weighs 198 grams. It comes in a 6.6 inches screen size and the display is TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2408 pixels resolution.
Platform:
Galaxy Buddy 2 is powered by the Qualcomm SM7225 Snapdragon 750G 5G (8 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 610. It runs on the Android 12 + One UI 4.1 operating system. It is packed with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also supports expandable microSD storage up to 512GB.
Main Camera:
The rear camera of the Samsung Galaxy Buddy 2 consists of a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro). It features autofocus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, HDR, touch focus, face detection, and LED flash.
Selfie Camera:
For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features an 8-megapixel camera. It features an F/2.2 aperture, FaceID, and Face beautification.
Connectivity options on the device include GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, and NFC. Its sensors include a fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, and compass.
