Justin Trudeau Asks Taylor Swift To Add Canada Eras Tour Dates

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Urges Taylor Swift To Bring Eras World Tour To Canada

JUSTIN TRUDEAU – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau urged singer Taylor Swift to bring her ‘Eras World Tour’ to Canada.

Taylor Swift is currently one of the world’s most popular musicians. The Nashville, Tennessee-born singer has established a name for herself in both pop and country music.

Swift’s eleven albums provide a soundtrack that fits every mood. Red’s song “All Too Well” taught how to move on after a bad breakup, while Lover’s song “ME! inspired you to dance.” In addition, the introspective scene in Reputation and the youthful spirit in Fearless “Midnights, a newer addition, will make you feel as if you’re drowning in emotions.

Taylor Swift has returned to the stage, her first tour in five years, after canceling the two-city Lover Fest in 2020 due to the pandemic. Each show is a trip through Taylor’s various eras, with a 44-song set list that includes songs from all ten of her studio albums.

When the Philippines was dropped from Taylor’s “Eras Tour” global tour schedule, Filipino fans were shocked and upset. Netizens and celebrities took to social media to express their dismay.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau turned to Twitter to try to persuade American pop diva Taylor Swift to add some dates to her “Eras Tour” in Canada after she announced 14 new European dates.

“It’s me, hi. I know places in Canada would love to have you. So, don’t make it another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon,” Trudeau said late Wednesday in response to Swift’s previous tweet announcing the additional tour dates.

Swift’s 2019 single “Cruel Summer” is currently on tour and has been a greater smash this year than when it first appeared on her “Lover” album.

The tour, which began in March in Arizona, will feature more than 100 concerts across the United States, Mexico, Europe, Asia, and Australia through the summer of 2024, but none in Canada.

Swift’s lack of Canadian stops has been brought up in the political realm before. Last month, Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux posted on social media an “official grievance” pleading with her to schedule some performances in Canada.
