CHED SCHOLARSHIP ONLINE APPLICATION NCR – Here is a guide for aspiring scholars in the National Capital Region in applying for a scholarship to CHED.
The Commission on Higher Education, more popularly called CHED, is one of the state agencies that offer scholarships to students who are determined to finish college. The government institution is the state agency that governs the colleges and universities in the country.
CHED offers several scholarships including StuFAPs. Its scholarship offers has helped a lot of poor students finish their studies. Here are the qualifications in applying to be a scholar of the Commission:
- a Filipino citizen
- Graduating high school student or high school graduate with a general average General Weighted Average (GWA)
- For Full State Scholarship Program (FSSP) and Full Private Education Student Financial Assistance (FPESPA), GWA must be 96% or above.
- For Half-SSP and Half-PESPA, GWA must be 93% but not more than 95%.
- Must have a combined annual gross income of parents/guardian which does not exceed Four Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP 400,000), or in cases where the income exceeds PhP 400,000 an applicant must present written certification or medical findings of illness of a family member, or school certifications of two or more dependents enrolled in college;
- Avail of only one government-funded financial assistance program.

There are requirements for the CHED scholarship application which include a duly-accomplished application form for aspiring scholars. You may apply for the scholarship in person at a regional office or online.
