Angkas Rider Earns Praises After Sharing His Education Journey
An Angkas rider earns praises from the online community after sharing his inspiring journey in completing his education.
A social media post by a rider named Kleiy Zarus Esca Lona has gained admiration and praise as he shared his story of perseverance in completing his education. According to Kleiy, he had to put his studies on hold in 2011 while pursuing a degree in BS Information Technology and found it difficult to resume his education.
In 2017, Kleiy’s girlfriend got pregnant and got married during that year. That’s when he started thinking about what kind of job he could do while studying.
While browsing through Facebook, Kleiy came across an advertisement for Angkas. It sparked an idea in his mind, and he decided to use the money they received from their wedding to make a down payment for a motorcycle. In September 2017, he applied to become an Angkas rider.
“Habang nagfa-Facebook, napadaan sa wall ko ‘yung adds ni Angkas. Doon po ako nagkaroon ng idea na okay ‘to ah, ginawa ko po ‘yung pera na nakuha namin sa kasal kinuha ko ng motor, pinang-down ko tapos nag-apply ako ng September 2017,” Lona said.
“Nakakapag-aral ako nang hindi nasasagasaan schedule ko sa school hanggang sa nagkaanak kami ng asawa ko ng dalawang lalaki,” Kleiy proudly shared.
Due to their growing family, Kleiy’s wife resigned from her job to focus on taking care of their children. Despite the challenges they faced, they persevered with the support of each other.
“Sa awa ng Diyos kahit papano sumasapat naman kita ko then naglakas-loob kami ng asawa ko at nakapagtapos ako nitong May sa kursong BS Criminology,” he added.
