It’s Showtime is trending number 1 worldwide with the hashtag “#GnaGSaShowtime” when the Kapamilya noontime show airs on its new home, GMA-7’s Good Television or GTV. It’s Showtime’s block time-deal agreement with TV5 has ended. Taking over their timeslot on Kapatid Network is TVJ’s new show or the triumvirate of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, along with legit Dabarkads.
The opening performance of the “It’s Showtime” family was very impressive for the first episode of the noontime show on GMA’s GTV channel.
Aside from the hosts Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Amy Perez, Vhong Navarro, and Jhong Hilario, they also had some other famous Kapuso and Kapamilya stars with them in the star-studded production.
That includes Rayver Cruz, Rodjun Cruz, Barbie Forteza, Belle Mariano, Alexa Ilacad, Sanya Lopez, Chie Filomeno, Mark Bautista, Christian Bautista, Erik Santos, Pokwang and Jolina Magdangal, and many others.
Also caught on camera was the President and CEO of ABS-CBN Corporation, Carlo Katigbak, who was present and enjoying the historic episode.

Even the employees of GMA-7 happily welcomed It’s Showtime to GTV. In a video released on social media, some GMA employees can be seen singing the theme song of the program.
