The FreeYond M5A was officially announced on May 29, 2023, and released on June 12, 2023. The smartphone is available in two colors Black and Gray. It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery + 18W fast charging.
Body & Display:
The device comes with a screen size of 6.6 inches IPS capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is built with a glass front, plastic back, and a plastic frame. Â
Platform:
The smartphone is powered by a UNISOC Tiger T606 (12 nm) processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G57 MP1. It runs on the Android 13 operating system. It is integrated with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also supports expandable microSD storage up to 512GB.
Main Camera:
FreeYond M5A sports a dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 50-megapixel + QVGA AI lens sensor. It features autofocus, HDR, digital zoom, and dual LED flash.
Selfie Camera:
On the front, the mobile features an 8-megapixel camera for clicking beautiful selfies and making video calls. It features FaceID and HDR.
Connectivity options on the device include a USB Type-C interface, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO. Its sensors include fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, and compass.
