Vice Ganda described GMA Network as a neighbor who is willing to help
It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda shared his description of GMA Network that provided their show a new home.
Vice along with other hosts of the Kapamilya noontime show flashed their wide smiles during the contract signing between ABS-CBN and GMA. GTV, the network owned by the Kapuso management, gave a new home to It’s Showtime following the non-renewal of its contract with TV5.
During the event, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Vice said that what is happening now in the Philippine entertainment industry is very “Pinoy.”
Vice Ganda said that It’s Showtime represents Filipino families that went through a lot.
Then, the Unkabogable Star likened ABS-CBN to parents who are willing to do anything to protect the welfare of their children.
When it comes to GMA, Vice said that the network is just like a good neighbor, someone who is ready to lend a helping hand.
Vice Ganda stressed that this is a story of success for him and for his fellow, It’s Showtime hosts, especially for the Madlang People, their avid viewers who have been with them for 14 years now.
With this, the Unkabogable Star said that he is very happy. Although he is not sure what the future brings for them, he is optimistic that this will open the door for more positive things to happen.
