Vice Ganda is thankful that It’s Showtime has a new home
Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda shared that he wants to be a guest in a Kapuso show now that It’s Showtime is set to air on GTV, the network owned by GMA.
Vice has finally spoken about the partnership between the Kapamilya noontime show and GTV. Through the recent vlog that he shared on his YouTube channel, the comedian-host expressed his thoughts on the current situation of their noontime show.
Despite what happened, he is optimistic that their show will do fine. From TV5 they are set to be shown on GTV starting July 1.
At first, Vice Ganda admitted that he felt that they became a casualty of the conflict between TVJ and TAPE. The iconic trio had to leave the management behind Eat Bulaga for the changes they want to do in the show.
However, Vice said that they can’t blame TVJ for what happened because they all just want to work.
In the same vlog, based on the article in Balita, the comedian-host expressed gratitude to GMA for providing them with a new home. He believes that their show is a gem because wherever it will be thrown, there would be someone who will pick it always.
He also mentioned that he wants to appear in one of the Kapuso shows if the management will allow it, especially since he just recently renewed his contract with ABS-CBN.
Vice shared that he already asked ABS-CBN’s executive Cory Vidanes about this and the latter said that this will brought up with other bosses. “Gusto ko lang lumabas sa programang ito. Kung uubra lang. Sana mag-guest ako sa show na ito,” he said.
Vice Ganda also said that he thinks there are a lot of people who are waiting for their guesting to happen. “Ang dami ring mga umiikot ang pwet at curious kung puwede kaya s’yang mag-guest dun. Makakapag-guest kaya siya do’n? I-invite kaya siya doon? What if mag-meet sila?” he said. However, the comedian-host did not mention what Kapuso show it is.
