RICCI RIVERO – Basketball player Ricci Rivero addresses live-in rumors and admitted something about him and Andrea Brillantes.
Athlete-actor Ricci Rivero has opened up about his breakup with actress Andrea Brillantes and revealed the several reasons that led to their split. In a previous article, one of the reasons is because of a girl the actress saw herself in his place.
He explained that the woman was just a companion of his friend, not his. He said, “May papunta akong friend ng midnight tapos hindi ko naman alam na may kasama siya tapos ‘yun ‘yung naabutan niya that time.”
Rivero also recalled that they agreed to take a break from their relationship in April and on the first week of May, they officially called it quits. He also denied that beauty queen-turned-politician Leren Bautista was a third party in the relationship.
And in the second part of the interview, Rivero shared more about their relationship before and addressed on specific rumor, about them living together. In the June 27 episode of FTWBA, he was asked: “Nag-live-in ba kayo ni Andrea Brillantes?”
He replied that they do from time to time but what the actress’ mother wants is for her to come home which they obliged.
In his personal perspective, he is also not in favor of this. He wanted them to pursue their respective goals and focus on their respective careers. He added, “Pero there are times that we do sleep together.”
But there are times that he stays in her house and she stays in their house.
In the same interview, he also revealed that he did not try winning her back. He admitted, “For the longest time, I was trying not to give up on the relationship, and sabi ko, for me to give up, siguro sobrang puno na.”
