Here’s the revelation from Melai Cantiveros about her recent health scare.
MELAI CANTIVEROS – During the Tuesday episode of Magandang Buhay, host Melai Cantiveros shared what she went through recently.
Health is wealth. The classic line goes this way but it really is. Health is our wealth. Being able to live longer, healthy, and happy is one thing many of us aspire to have. We get to spend a little bit longer with our loved ones and do the things we haven’t done yet.
And recently, in Magandang Buhay, actress-host Melai Cantiveros revealed the health scare she went through.
She shared in that show what she has found in her body and what she did. She even said that this is something she has not shared yet with her family. It was her first time sharing this with the people.
Melai shared that she has found a lump in her chest. As much as we all know, the appearance of a lump in specific parts of the body means something and to have a lump in the chest is something alarming which became Melai’s major concern in the past months.
“Ngayon ko lang ito sasabihin, hindi rin ito alam ng family ko. Noong nagbakasyon ako ng Cebu, ginoal ko talaga na mapuntahan ang mga simbahan doon at sa Bohol. Doon ako nag-pray,” she said.
She prayed in churches she went to and simply surrendered everything to God.
Melai admitted that she has worries and fears but she decided to push away the negative thoughts and put her trust in the Almighty. She prayed and became faithful and still. She prayed hard and her prayers were answered.
The lump vanished and this gave her a huge relief.
“Ipinag-pray ko talaga. Dapat magpapa-check up na ako after ng cycle na ito [ng taping natin]. Bago ako magpa-check up, sabi ko, ‘Lord, ikaw na ang bahala. Hindi na ako mag-iisip.’ Kasi pumapasok na kung ano anong negative sa isip ko,” she expressed.
This experience also taught her the significance of unwavering faith. And because of this experience, she will no longer worry about what is ahead of them because He is always there.
She considers this as his big miracle.
