Joey de Leon shared this information about their show’s premiere on TV5
Henyo Master Joey de Leon said that the premiere of the TVJ show with Dabarkads on TV5 on July 1 will not have a live studio audience yet.
The start of July will also be a new start for the iconic trio and the rest of the Dabarkads who followed their decision to leave TAPE and transfer to the Kapatid network. In previous statements, the TVJ has not divulged yet the title of their TV5 show.
However, they stressed that they really want to use the Eat Bulaga, especially that it was Joey who created this and they have been using this for 44 years already.
However, due to legal matters, they cannot just bring the title to the Kapatid network. Based on the article in Manila Bulletin, during a recent Facebook Live, Joey de Leon said that they will not have a live studio audience this coming Saturday for their premiere.
He said that for now, they wanted the show to be just them only and people can watch them on TV.
“Nagtatanong ang iba kung me live audience na. Aaminin namin manganganay ‘to. Yung studio namin bago eh, gusto namin medyo kami–kami muna so buksan nyo muna ang TV nyo, basta TV5 hanapin nyo. Yun muna para naka-settle kayo kasi hindi natin alam ang mga mangyayari, kakapain muna namin ang studio ng TV5 sa Reliance,” the Henyo Master said.
When it comes to the title of their show, Joey said, “Kung ano man ang title namin, tandaan nyo: EAT – Eto Ang Title. Eto ang TVJ.” With his signature humor, he said that when “EAT” is spelled backward, then, people already know this word.
“Yung EAT pag binaligtad nyo, alam nyo na, pero yung totoo pag binaligtad nyo, bahala na kayo. Magkadugtong talaga ang Eat at Totoo,” the veteran comedian-host said.
Previously, Joey de Leon has been sharing meaningful posts on his Instagram page. One of the recent posts he shared appeared to be an attack on GMA and TAPE.
