Megan Young talked about her character in the new Kapuso murder mystery series
Kapuso actress Megan Young shared that she is channeling her Miss World aura for her character in the new Kapuso murder mystery series Royal Blood.
Megan goes back to acting after taking a break for quite a long time. In the series, she works with her real-life husband Mikael Daez. Her character is entangled with the character of Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Network, Megan shared that she recalled her Miss World days for her role here.
“Playing my character, Diana, makes me feel like I’m back to my Miss World days because she’s always prim and proper and always nakapostura,” Megan Young shared. She won the Miss World Philippines 2013 title and she is the first Filipina who won this title.
However, she said that her character’s attitude is not for Miss World. In the series, her character Diana is the ex-girlfriend of Napoy, the character played by Dingdong. On the other hand, she married Napoy’s half-brother Kristoff, played by Mikael.
This is Megan and Mikael’s onscreen reunion since their last project together The Stepdaughters in 2018.
Aside from working with her husband on this project, Megan is also happy to have the chance to work with Dingdong again.
“It’s great that I get to work with somebody I look up to growing up and finally makakasama ko siya ulit. It’s such a great honor and privilege to be working with such a great artist in the industry,” Megan Young shared.
Royal Blood also features Rhian Ramos, Tirso Cruz III, Rabiya Mateo, and many more.
